Apple Wood Chips


Authentic Apple. Our apple wood chips offer a light, fruity, slightly sweet aroma. The apple wood chips are commonly used with pork and poultry. At Blackwood, we love the apple wood chips paired with pork ribs. As well as this, the apple wood chips can be mixed with other smoke woods such as oak and cherry to enhance even more flavoursome tastes.


For best results soak the wood chips in water for 30 minutes before using on your barbecue.


Drain off the excess water and add the wood chips directly onto the lit charcoal, or alternatively double wrap the chips in cooking foil and pierce to allow the fantastic flavours to infuse your food.
